Fall Mini Sessions!

It’s time for Fall Mini Sessions!  I currently have two locations offered this year!

Scheduling is now open on the following dates:

• **SOLD OUT** October 8th - Bay Farm on Loring St at the Kingston/Duxbury Line - 6 Sessions Available starting at 4:00pm. Dogs are welcome at this location! **Sold Out!**
• October 22nd - Bourne Farm at 6 North Falmouth Hwy in North Falmouth - 5 Sessions Available starting at 3:40pm!

Booking and scheduling...
Session times will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis. I will try my best to accommodate time requests. I understand you may have other commitments and of course, nap time!
The session fee is $75. A $25 non-refundable retainer is due at the time of booking. $50 is due the day of your session. Cash, check, or credit/debit are all accepted.

What to expect...
Sessions are 20 minutes long and are for immediate family only (parents/guardians and/or children). Clients are required to arrive and be ready for the camera at least 5 minutes before their session start time. I will provide props for seating, blankets, etc. If you wish to include anything special (sign, blanket), feel free! I will have reward goodies (lollipops, etc) for the kiddos in exchange for awesome listening ears and beautiful smiles! When the sessions are short, bribery works wonders on accomplishing great family photos quickly. 😉

After your session...
All of the edited images from your session will be posted to a private online gallery. You are welcome to share your gallery with family and friends. Digital images are available in packages of 5 or 10 and may be ordered through email. Prints and canvases may be ordered directly through your gallery. There will be an ordering period with FREE shipping where I will place one bulk order and deliver your order myself. After that period ends, orders will be placed to the lab as they come in and will be shipped directly to you for a shipping fee of $7.50.  All digital image and print orders will include minor retouching (skin softening, small blemishes, teeth whitening). Major retouching requests will be billed separately at $25 or more per file (depending on type of request).

This year I will be offering Holiday Card ordering. After the sessions are completed, I will have different styles to select from. Pick your style, image and wording... I'll take care of the rest!

Baby Lucy

For Lucy's in-home newborn session, there were many assistants on hand!  Lucy was surrounded by her 3 very helpful older siblings. She was of course a perfect sleeper for us, only walking up a few times to take a peek and eat. Please enjoy a few photos from the sweet baby girl's session.

Paige + Maeve (and Molly too!)

These sweet girls were not having the sleepy, in-home newborn session we had planned for them!  When you have eyes as beautiful as these staring back at you through the lens, it's hard to be upset that what you envisioned, is not falling into place.  Big sister Molly was a wonderful assistant and even joined in on a few portraits with her new sisters. Baby Scarlett + Family

Little Miss Scarlett was definitely the perfect gift for this family!  The only girl surrounded by her FIVE loving brothers! To say that Mom was excited to finally get her daughter would be an understatement.  In her short time in this world so far, Scarlett has been spoiled with everything girly.

Baby Jack

This sweet little guy wanted nothing to do with a sleepy session when I arrived.  After a feeding (and some welcomed snuggling), Jack was snoozing away while Mom and I ooohed over his precious face! He was such a trooper though all of our costume, hat, prop and location changes.

Winter Portraits - Part 1

I have been very thankful for fairly mid winter weather which has allowed for some great outdoor portrait sessions from holiday cards to extended family gatherings.

Now that the snow is melting as we seem to be getting a glimpse of spring temps, I hope to be back behind the lens again!

Isla

Such a sweet addition to a lovely couple.  Isla was a dream to capture during her in-home session.  She was very happy to drift off to sleep and even shared a few snores with us.

Coastal Family Portraits

This multi-generational portrait session was a wonderful gift for the grandparents of these simply adorable kids!  They selected a location that was new to me, with spectacular views and that warm fall afternoon sun.  I have to say my favorite is all of the kids surrounding their grandparents!

Idayah - Class of 2017

I met this handsome young man, Idayah, his mom and younger siblings at Brewster Gardens for his senior portrait session.  His siblings were great helpers!  Providing both posing and location suggestions.  Mom had a lot to say about Idayah's smile and I can't blame her.  When he laughs, he really does have a great smile.  Idayah's "real" smile and kind, sweet personality will definitely take him far in life.

Misam & Muhing

This sweet set of twins recently spent an afternoon in front of my camera. They took turns shedding a few tears and making all those adorable baby sounds.  I am so lucky to have been able to have some baby time with Misam & Muhing.  I wish Mom and Dad much luck with raising these wonderful boys.

A Family Portrait Session with Zooey & Maisy

I absolutely adore this family!  Super sweet and adorable kids, very cool parents.  We had a great time in the park talking about typical kid stuff like....boogers.  Enjoy this sampling from our portrait session in an unexpected location.

Amanda's Maternity Portraits & Baby O's Newborn Session

Just before Baby O arrived and filled Amanda's life with much more joy, I was able to capture a few sweet maternity portraits at her home and a local beach. Shortly after, I was welcomed back to meet their new cutie and capture her newborn portraits.

Stephanie + Brandon - Married

Stephanie + Brandon were married on a spectacular fall day at the Kelley Chapel located behind the Old Yarmouth Inn on Cape Cod. The chapel provided the perfect setting for their intimate celebration with close family and friends. After exchanging vows we took advantage of the chapel grounds for portraits with guests. A short walk away, the party continued in a bright private room lined with windows. Once the flower girl opened the dance floor, family and friends dined and danced the night away. Congratulations to Stephanie + Brandon! We wish you a lifetime of love and happiness!

Fall Family Portraits Part 2

This post features a portion of the mini sessions I offered to a local neighborhood.  These families live in a new development that was built around cranberry bogs.  This year I chose to explore the many options around those bogs to create a beautiful fall backdrop.

I had the pleasure of working with so many awesome families this fall.  From mini sessions on a cranberry bog to portrait sessions at a private farm (complete with goats!!) I was able to capture some adorable kids and the parents who love them.

Tiffany + Jon - Engaged

This past summer, Jon proposed to Tiffany at their favorite beach, The Spit.  They selected the same location for their engagement session.  One especially warm October afternoon, we trekked out over the boardwalk and through the marsh grass to the beach.  They will be married next June, overlooking the The Spit.

Erica + David - Married

Erica + David were married on August 7th at The Lighthouse Inn in West Dennis.  They had perfect weather for their seaside ceremony surrounded by close friends and family.  Their floral arrangements were created by Flowers by Mary in Orleans and the boutonnieres were purchased on Etsy.
